Welcome! 🤠

My name is Connor "Buzz" Kleine. I am a programmer with a passion for user experience and data management, and a focus on full stack web development. A Tulsa native, I have never lived anywhere else. It's incredible to be a part of the massive growth in the local tech scene. I am full stack web developer with a passion for data and the user experience. I have experience with a magnitude of languages, from rewriting printf() in C and making a mock AirBnB API in Python, to making full websites with custom front- and back-ends. I am eager to contribute to every project that comes across my desk, and always excited to learn!

TASM Visitor Portal

In partnership with the Tulsa Air and Space Museum and my own team of four, we built a digital visitor portal to replace the paper sign-in sheets they had been using. The frontend was designed in Webflow, and the backend was built with Firebase and Node.js. We built a data dashboard and visitor map using Python with Dash and Plotly. The application is designed to both make it easier for new and returning visitors to sign in, and to provide the museum with a way to track visitor data and trends, assisting them with grant applications and other funding opportunities.

Draco

DraCo is a mock-shop built as part of a custom front-end project. We used Bootstrap and JQuery for the front end elements. Additionally, we built a backend of products and testimonials in a Firestore Cloud and hosted the site on Firebase. We used Canva to make custom images for each of our products, and for the images on our site.

AirBnB Clone

This is a functional replica of the AirBnB site using our own API, with a Holberton School flair to the final product. The database is built with MySQL and Python, and the front end is built with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

Recreating the printf() Function

We created a fully-functional clone of of the printf() function in the C language. We used a buffer to store the print-ready string, and one write() call at the end to actually print it.

What I Do

Working as a field technician for a big telecom company before transitioning into the programming industry gives me a unique perspective and experience on both sides of the keyboard.

Full Stack Development

Taking a knowledge of frontend web applications into backend development allows me to work within any sliver of the web stack.

Data Management

From using an in-file queuing system to a locally-run server to using a remote cloud service, I love handling data.

Programming Concepts

Using Python, C, and Bash to write scripts and low-level programs exposed me to data structures and functions.

Wide Project Experience

Having worked on projects ranging from commercial fiber construction to Monty file parsers, I am ready to work on any team.

Connectivity

I have experience with both local and remote servers, and understand the importance of connectivity and security.

Value

I am a hard worker, and I am always looking for ways to improve my skills and my work. As a team player, I love to collaborate and learn from others.

Give Me a Holler!

Let me know if you'd like to speak with me about trends and opportunities in tech space! I would love the opportunity to get to chat and collaborate with you.
